You are here to isolate a failure to Call Home. There are two options for Call Home on DS8000® - 'Call Home via modem' and 'Call Home via Internet VPN'. The customer can choose to use either, both or none of these options.

Is "Allow an existing Internet connection for service" checked?
Was the customer able to access the HMC from the network?
