There is a platform LIC failure.
Procedure
- Are any other FRUs or procedures listed before LICCODE for this serviceable event or reference
code?
- Yes, try to resolve the problem by replacing those FRUs or performing
those procedures first.
- No, go to step 2.
- Read the following before taking any action:
- The root cause of the error that sent you here is most likely due to a
hardware error. It is less likely that the problem is due to a code or firmware
error.
- There might be multiple serviceable events
for a single error, each for a different aspect of the error. Review all open serviceable events before proceeding.
- Look for open serviceable events
with FRUs that might be related to this problem. It is possible for related
FRUs to be outside of the CEC enclosure.
For example, the RPC card has a communication interface to the service processor
card.
- The timestamp of the related serviceable event can
be before or after the timestamp of the serviceable event that
sent you here. For example, an RPC card error might take several minutes to
be reported by the managing LPAR, whereas a service processor error might
report in less time.
- The serviceable event with the earliest timestamp might not be the root
cause of the error.
- Check Retain for any Tips for the SRC in the serviceable event that sent you
here.
- Contact your next level
of support for
guidance as needed.
