MAP4F30 Recover login profile error detected by CDA

Certain operations require the service processor user ID dev to be enabled. If CDA detects that dev is disabled, you will be sent to this MAP to enable it.

About this task

Perform the following steps for both CEC enclosures (managed systems) in the affected storage facility.

Procedure

Launch the Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI) for the CEC enclosure being repaired.
1. From the navigation area, click Storage Facility Management > storage facility > Server View > server.
2. From the bottom Task area, click Operations > Launch Advanced System Management (ASM).
3. On the Launch Advanced System Management (ASM) confirmation window, click OK.
4. If the This Connection is Untrusted window opens, click Add Exceptions. When the Add Security Exception window opens, click Confirm Security Exception.
5. The management console Web browser will be launched, and the ASM login panel will display.
  Note: If access fails and you have a laptop available, try MAP6F20 Accessing the ASMI using a web browser.
In the ASMI login panel, check the User Status table in the right pane. Does the table show user ID dev as Enabled?
- Yes, user ID dev is enabled. Go to step 5.
- No, user ID dev is disabled. Continue with step 3.
Log in as user ID admin with password admin2107.
Use the ASMI to enable user ID dev.
1. In the navigation area, expand Login Profile and select User Access Policy.
2. In the User ID dropdown menu, select dev.
3. In the Policy setting dropdown menu, select Enabled.
4. Click Continue.
5. Log out of ASMI, and close any ASMI windows that are open.
6. Continue with step 5.
Have you completed this procedure for both CEC enclosures in the affected storage facility?
1. Yes, complete for both CEC enclosures. Go to step 6.
2. No, complete for only one CEC enclosure. Go to step 1 and complete this procedure for the other CEC enclosure.
Close any ASMI windows that are open, and then exit this procedure.
