MAP43C0 SFI LPAR IML from Second Hard Disk Drive

SRC BE111060 is used to report a problem that caused the storage facility LPAR to boot from the second hard disk drive in the partition boot list instead of the first.

About this task

There is a problem with the first hard disk drive in the storage facility partition boot list. The storage facility LPAR booted from the second hard disk drive listed in the partition boot list.

Procedure

  1. Display open serviceable events.
    1. From the navigation area, click Service Management.
    2. In the right work area, go to the Service Management section and click Manage Serviceable Events. A window opens and lets you specify selection criteria for serviceable events.
    3. Leave the default settings and click OK.
    4. Look for a problem that indicates a CEC hard drive failure on the failing Storage Facility (2107/242x) or Storage Facility System (82xx/9117).
