MAP1212 Displaying Installed Code Levels (LIC, HMC, Storage Manager, Firmware, OS, PTF, SFI, Bundle VRMF, CDA History)

The management console (HMC) is used to display the various code levels that are present on the HMC and the storage facility.

Procedure

Display installed code levels:
  1. From the navigation area, click Updates.
  2. From the right work area, select the radio button for the existing storage facility. The bottom Task area displays a list of tasks you can select.
  3. Click Display Installed HMC Code Levels. An Action Panel displays the code levels.
  4. Find Package: HMC, MTMS: XXXXXXX*XXXXXXX and find the Bundle VRMF: xx.xx.xx.xx beneath it. There might be more than one bundle under install history; select the top line which is the latest bundle.
  5. Write down the LIC bundle VRMF.
