Management console configuration

Customize customer information	From management console navigation area, select Service Applications > Remote Support
Customer network connection (TCP/IP)	From management console navigation area, select HMC Management > HMC Configuration
Determine which of the four private network address ranges is configured.	Go to MAP7005 Determining which private network address range is selected
Outbound calls (local modem)	From management console navigation area, select Service Applications > Remote Support > Customize Outbound Connectivity
Inbound calls (remote support to local modem)	From management console navigation area, select Service Applications > Remote Support > Customize Inbound Connectivity
Customize E-mail notification	From management console navigation area, select Service Applications > Service Agent > Customer Notification. Select the Email tab.
Customize SNMP notification	From management console navigation area, select Service Applications > Service Agent > Customer Notification. Select the SNMP Trap Configuration tab.
Call home / remote reporting options	From management console navigation area, select Service Applications > Remote Support > Customize Outbound Connectivity.
Enable / disable ESSNi server	From management console navigation area, select Service Applications > Service Focal Point. Select the storage facility. Click Selected > Get HMCs click HMC. Click Selected > Start/Stop ESSNI.
Change management console date and time	From management console navigation area, select HMC Management > HMC Configuration > Customize Console Date and Time
Change customer Network Time Protocol server settings	Go to MAP40A0 Update customer Network Time Protocol server settings for the HMC.
Using a virtual terminal session	From management console navigation area, select Server and Partition > Server Management. Select a server and expand it. Expand Partitions. Select a partition. Click Selected > Open Terminal Window.
