MAP31B0 SRCs BE34002B and BE340074 No available spares for DDM repair

A DDM that has failed cannot be repaired until other failed DDMs on this same loop are repaired first.

Procedure

  1. Use the following information to repair this serviceable event:
    • Both DDM spare drives on this loop have already been used by the two DDMs that have failed.
    • A third DDM drive on the same loop has failed, but there is no available spare drive to use.
    • All the failing DDM drives for this loop are listed in the serviceable event FRU list.
  2. Ensure that you repair the DDM drives in the order that they are listed in the FRU list starting at the top.
    Note: The last DDM drive in the FRU list can only be repaired after at least one DDM spare has been made available by repairing a prior DDM drive in the FRU list.
